Meet our SHAgov Executive Board!
Nicholas Pisani
President Nick is a senior at Boston University and will serve as the President of SHAgov for the 2019-2020 school year. As president, he leads the Executive Board, manages multiple initiatives within SHA, and collaborates with administrators and faculty members on behalf of the student body. Originally from New Jersey, Nick transferred to BU after his freshman year of college. Aside from his involvement in SHA, he is also a brother and the social director of Alpha Kappa Psi, a professional business fraternity on campus. He currently works for Aramark at Fenway Park in the Premium Catering Department, which handles game-day & non game-day event operations. Last fall, he had the opportunity to participate in the Disney College Program and learn the framework for a successful career in hospitality. A fun fact about him is that he loves Beyonce and has flown around the country to watch her perform live 18 times and hopes to hit 20 shows by end of the summer! |
Allison Huang
Vice President, Fall 2019 Allison is a senior at Boston University and will serve as Vice President of SHAgov alongside Lucy Yang. Originally from Taipei, Taiwan, she moved to California when she was 16. She transferred to BU before her sophomore year and has loved SHA ever since. Last fall, Allison studied abroad in Sydney, Australia and interned at the Intercontinental Double Bay in Sydney. She rotated through departments within the property to gain exposure in multiple areas of hospitality. This past summer, she interned at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Anaheim for the second year. |
Lucy Yang
Vice President, Spring 2020 Lucy is a junior at Boston University and will serve as Vice President of SHAgov alongside Allison Huang. She is from Arcadia, California. Over the summer, Lucy was an assistant coordinator at a wedding planning company where she had so much fun helping out at weddings and really learning about the wedding industry. During the upcoming fall semester, she will be studying abroad in Sydney, Australia, but once spring semester rolls around, she'll be ready to help plan your next SHA gala! |
Alex Kugelmass
Vice President, Finance Alex is a senior at Boston University, majoring in Hospitality Administration in SHA and minoring in Business Administration in the Questrom School of Business. He will serve as the Vice President of Finance for SHAgov for the second year in a row. Alex is from Longmeadow, MA, near the MGM Casino. He is interested in working in hotel or hospitality real estate after graduation. This past summer, he has been working as a housekeeping supervisor at The Liberty Hotel in Boston! During the school year, you can find him as a TA for our SHA HF120 class and involved with Greek life on campus. |
Nhi Do
Vice President, Administrative Affairs Nhi is a senior at Boston University and will serve as the Vice President of Administrative Affairs for the 2019-2020 school year. She is originally from Dallas and transferred to SHA the summer before her sophomore year. This past spring semester, Nhi had the opportunity to study abroad in Auckland, New Zealand. There, she was able to meet new people, take classes at the local university, intern at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival, and travel to Australia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Nhi's interests outside of Hospitality include reading, spending time with friends and family, watching multiple shows at once on Netflix, eating what her heart desires, and exploring new places and hobbies. |
Emma Jacobson
Senator, Boston University Undergraduate Student Government Emma is a sophomore at Boston University and will serve as the Senator for the 2019-2020 academic year. She's from Westchester, NY and is an upcoming sophomore doing a dual degree in SHA and Sargent. In her free time, Emma's favorite things to do are relaxing, eating, sleeping, and volunteering. This summer, she was in Mumbai, India participating in the Taj Hotels Internship Program. A fun fact about her is that she doesn't like cake! |
